One of my fondest Christmas memories is checking the mailbox (the physical one, hanging on the staircase, opened with a fancy key). Receiving cards from family and friends brought me so much joy. From the postcard fronts smiled jovial Santas, cherub-faced angels, and fidgeting baby Jesuses in their cribs. I contemplated these illustrations like works of art, captivated by the raised embossing and rough, glittery textures. I listened to the sounds of a hidden music box playing metallic ‘Jingle Bells’. I knew that each postcard had been chosen with me in mind, which made the experience even more special.
In today’s world of digital content, I value 'analog' communication even more. I take great pleasure in designing a card that carries handwritten wishes out into the world.

I printed the A6 cards on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 g/m² cotton paper.
The background, textures, and details are beautifully reproduced, which unfortunately wasn't captured in the photo.
