The evolution of the ‘Moving pictures’ series is quite interesting. Like most stories, everything started with a creative game, in which I gave words a visual form. Already in the first design I wanted to include an element of movement. My inspiration was the animation from the opening of the TV program 'W starym kinie' (In the old cinema), which fascinated me as a child.
'W starym kinie' was a cyclical program, broadcasted on Polish Television between 1965 and 2000. The author and host was Stanisław Janicki. I was unable to determine the author of the animation. However, I discovered that the music is a piano version of the song 'W małym kinie' (In the small cinema) by Mieczysław Fogg.
